I really think they were "bros" immediately on the show and as Adam so aptly showed on this season his "bros" meant a lot to him. He talked about Jacob on more than one occasion on the feeds saying he saved him from eviction that first week and he owed him.

And did anyone see Josh totally shun Jacob. After Baller came out of the house and Julie says "We'll be right back" you can clearly see Jacob come up to Joshua, put his hand on his shoulder and Josh just quickly turns away to get his hand off and the look on his face is like "Don't come near me!!!". Does anyone have video of that?? It was clear as day, right before the commercial.

Well, if you think about it, Jacob really was a big reason for Adam winning; Adam & Sheila were almost certainly going to be booted first before Jacob told Jen that Parker was a snake. Sheila probably would have been the one brought back by Josh, so Adam would have been the first boot if it were not for Jacob. :P
