Probst, the China contestants Todd and Pei Gee are saying good things about Amanda know, they are impressed with how far Amanda is getting. And another poster who seems to know Todd is defending an Amanda win, talking about how Amanda is a strategic player. As mentioned earlier all they really have to do to defend her win is to have Amanda mention (and you know she will) on the Finale show that she will be the only Contestant to make the Finals Twice. What I mean by this is Amanda is being edited as completely seperate from the woman's alliance, and we were all suppose to feel sorry for the girl.. Oh her boyfriend is flirting with Alexis, Oh her boyfriend was voted out, Oh her friends lied to her, can she trust him. Oh, she's on the outside of the girls. Some editors said that there is actually "hero's music playing when Amanda's on."

Then why show her making out with Ozzy with rats...

I have to agree with you SurvivorFan, I just don't see how Parvati is gonna pull off the win here.

If it's a final 2 with her against Amanda, and James isn't on the jury, she wins like this:

Cirie - Parvat (will probably see Parvati as more deserving)
Catalie - Parvati (close bond with Parvati)
Alexis - Parvati (close bond with Parvati)
Erik - Amanda (probably bonded with Amanda while they on the same tribe)
Jason - Parvati...

It's a Cirie win. That's one retired nurse now. Otherwise, why show her early powerplays? Amanda's been shown some and Parvarti of course, but not Alexis. Nat has only been shown this week as manipulative and calculating but in a mean way.

This season, the editor chose to feature Parvati more coz I think they're trying to justify why Amanda can win in the end (because Parvati was hated) just like how they edit Danni.

That's my whole point. When you finish 3rd place one season, and (for the sake of argument) win the next season, and in neither of those seasons are you memorable enough to have the story be about YOU, that says something.

Some stuff from Jason's interview on the Joann/Stacy podcast:

- Like Eliza he really couldn't connect with the LA girls (Parvati and Natalie) because they were usually talking about stuff that went on in LA etc.

- He says an alliance with James would NEVER have happened. He said that James didn't like him and didn't want to be in an alliance w/him no matter what. He says that Erik was basically Ozzy's lap dog and didn't do anything on his own.

Amanda is the kind of person who usually stand back in the corner but when she need it, she can strike immediately.

You have to admit, James' departure last season was pretty genious. And It's all constructed by Amanda.
