I bet you really had brunch at the Pru. A pizza brunch where your receipt mysteriously lists a different type of pizza than was on your plate.

Mrs. P and I had a nice dinner in Little Italy on Sunday. They were having the Saint Anthony of somebody/something festival. Felt like I was in a scene from the Godfather.

Sadly, brunch was not as fabulously expensive as I thought it would be. It ended up only being about $150 with tip for the four of us.

When I was "fortunate" enough to live up in yankeeland it never ceased to amaze me how you people would spend good money after bad on stupid things like crappy brunches and rounds and rounds of watered-downs at the bar. Suffice it to say, I'm so happy to be back here in the land of Bojangles biscuits and PBRs in the backyard.

Yes, you should. Otherwise they're all lies lies lies. (ps: lol Since you're firing up the waybac machine to come up with a receipt, I went to brunch last May after powers jr's 1st communion and spent more than a grand on brunch for family that came in from out of town. Should I dig up that too?)

We were in NYC in August. I only keep my credit card statements for three months. The only reason I still have the hotel receipt is that my son has a bunch of mementos from the trip and the hotel bill was tucked inside the Ellis Island brochure. I should look throguh his box of stuff though, he may have taken the menu.

Mrs. P and I are going to a wedding in NYC over Memorial Day weekend. Rooms at the hotel are running around $350 per night.

One of Mrs. P's former college roommates who's also going to the wedding e-mailed Mrs. P the following:
