I think teenagers love texting because it means you can talk bad about someone right in front of them. But that's just a guess.

If I really want to be a nuisance, I can text something...anything to my teenage son. According to the latest cell phone statement, he received 624 messages and sent 679 messages within the last month. He tells me that my text messages are unimportant and are not informational. I wonder if he and his friends are discussing Einstein to make these 1300 messages important and meaningful.

I actually have one of those ancient plans where it costs money for me to text. So I don't. Also, I'd have to buy a phone with a keyboard just so I didn't end up spelling u instead of you, which would drive me completely batshit!
