I know the consensus is that the TV Guide 4/24 date is wrong, but what if it's right? All we have from the web clues is:

One Castaway has made too many promises to too many friends, leading to a Tribal Council in which she is forced to betray an alliance. One Castaway, desperate for friends and allies, makes the ultimate sacrifice in exchange for promises of safety from every single tribemate.

Let's say Jason wins immunity but gives it up for...

I just don't see how Jason would be leaving if Parvati is forced to betray an alliance at Tribal Council.

Parvati would scheme with the girls to boot Ozzy or James, but flips to boot Jason (who is out of the loop). That would also guarantee James/Ozzy's votes at F3 even up against Cirie.

I think the idol instructions this season were just in that hut on the shore of exile island where Clue #1 is. It makes sense to let everyone (including those who didn't find the idol) to know the rules of how it's played.

And Mariposa... go back and check out Cook Island again. I dunno HOW many times I watched Yul dig up that damn compass on a string lol. It's featured because it plays a big part in the shift of the game... maybe it does this time too.

i agree erik and jason are the next two to go, but if jason is still there because of the tvguide preview next week which doesn't match with jeff probst's preview of a blunder,, i would see erik go first that would let us think what blunder are we going to see this week?.. jason wins immunity again for the second time in a row, and ozzy betraying his "erik alliance", or parvati betraying the couples alliance in voting out erik..
but how does the idol takes part in this...

The only way Jason is leaving is if in this episode Parvati makes some type of alliance with him and then betrays it. Which if she does that, I guess she just wants to lose another jury vote.

I still wonder if the idol Ozzy found is the real thing? Why wasn't there a note or inscription that came with it? Maybe it was planted there and the actual one hasn't been found yet. All the others have always had some sort of literature that came with it except for this one???? Not only that but every recap has Ozzy saying how he found the idol. I could be wrong but I don't remember recaps from earlier seasons making such a big deal about who finds the idol. I think...

I wonder if it comes down to Ozzy and Jason again for individual immunity. And when it is just those 2 left at the end of the IC Ozzy decides to make a deal promising Jason that he will give him his HII if he will let Ozzy win individual immunity this week. And Jason believes him, and once again Ozzy makes a fool of Jason by making Jason believe that he has an immunity idol, and when they get to TC Ozzy backs out of the deal to give him one of the Immunity Idol/necklace.

After seeing the Jeff Probst preview for the next episode, I developed a new theory about what is going to happen. Before the challenge Jason says, that if he and Ozzy are the last two in the challenge, then he will quit the challenge and give a free pass to Ozzy. Everyone agrees, because they would like to vote out Jason anyway. Jason thinks that he is safe, and gets all votes. Could that be the blunder?

TVGuide is usually good about what is in each episode. I don't recall them ever making a mistake.

They've made tons of mistakes. Usually they get what happens right, but they very often get the episode it happens in wrong, and this is yet another example of that. As I said, Probst himself has confirmed that the blunder is this week, not next week.

I can't believe people are still speculating over this. It's obviously Jason giving away the immunity necklace then getting booted. What else could it be??

I don't think he wins and then gives up the necklace. I think he just gives up in the IC after making a deal with Ozzy. Of course, if he DOES win and gives up the necklace, then that's even stupider..... so I'd love to see it : )

Ozzy's pegged as mid-jury by SF, so I doubt he goes this week.

As for his boot, I really don't see how he COULDN'T see it coming. He obviously gets blindsided down the line (I doubt he'd backstab Erik or James), and yet he doesn't have the sense to use the HII? All I can think of is that Parvati, Cirie and Amanda simply persuade him that they're booting Natalie or Alexis and he believes it. Stupid blunder indeed.

I just don't think Cirie and Parvati would go behind Amanda's back and risk alienating her right now. Then it would be 4 fans to 4 favs with Amanda and James possibly angry at Parvati and Cirie. It doesn't make sense to boot Ozzy yet. That gives Natalie and Alexis all the power and even if they stayed with Parv and Cirie there is no reason that Erik, Jason, Amanda and James wouldn't form a counter-alliance. I don't see Ozzy going yet. I think that's a mistake.
