Was I the only one who thought Chris Brown sucked?... He was terrible. He couldn't even sing the song the way it was recorded. He had to do horrible key changes and mess everything up. Good for Jordin for not getting thrown off when Chris Brown started sucking.

Jordin definitely missed that one big high note... That was rough. Overall I thought she did a great job though. I really like that song.

The song was OK, neither great nor terrible. It sure doesn't sound like anything she did on the show. My favorite moment occurred a minute in when she started taking steps towards Chris Brown and he started backing up, like he was afraid she was going to beat him up. Which she undoubtedly could--she's about 2-3 inches taller than him and outweighs him by 30 or 40 pounds. I actually like Jordin's being so big: she's not really overweight (even though everybody jokes about her...

I think they dragged out all the awards more to help the show's image than to honor Jordin. They were trying to counter the growing public perception that winning 'Idol' is now meaningless. This was their way of saying, "See, see, winning DOES matter. Even though some people we booted early have gone on to win Oscars and release smash hit rock albums, the person who WINS is still the one who matters most."

Performance was ok, but the song just strikes me as desperate and not in an emotive way.

I think Jordin is a healthy weight. She just never knows how to dress herself.

As for her being better than this season's women, since this season was set up for a man to win and last season was basically set up for her to win, I would hope so. I just hope she takes care of her voice, and that she never has a duet with Archuleta. I would of thought in a year she could have done a diet, but her arms still looked like canned hams. I like Chris Brown, and I wish he had just been singing by himself. Don't like that song at all, and their voices sound bad together.

Jordin sang it live all the way throughout, though there were times she sang just as she sang on the backing track, making it appear as if she were lip-synching. It's ridiculously common these days. I'd have preferred to have back-up singers, instead of a backing track. that would have made it seem less like they were just playing the single and singing on top of it.

And, yes, Jordin > any S7 girl.

I kinda giggled at how she tried to be all sexy towards Chris. She looked awkward and I could so see her thinking in her head what kind of move should she make towards him.

The song itself has grown on me. She sounded good, but the body language seemed fake.
