I was mere feet from all 51 of this year's contestants last weekend in Vegas, while they rehearsed and taped some dance moves for a montage. My friend works on the show.

Tiger, I was making a joke. Rachel is stunning. She was SO great in Pageant Place as well. She came across really well in that. She should have won again this year.

You must have 6 straight male judges, 2 gay male judges, and 2 women judges. Texas winning was no surprise here because her face resembles a man. Seriously last year's winner was pretty but this woman looked like Scottie Pippen with a wig. I won't be watching this shit ever again.

I really liked Massachusetts - I thought she had a look and sex appeal that would have scored well at Universe. Texas will do fine too.

Not an Osmond fan at all - Marie doesn't seem very nice.

Terrible pageant this year.

The bad:
- Donnie and Marie were painful to watch. Corny jokes, obnoxious behavior, and idiotic banter does not make good television. What happened to the good days of Daisy Fuentes? I can only hope they find new hosts for Universe.
- Musical guest Finger Eleven. Even the worst AI reject could sing better, and pick a better song. Hoarse screaming and shouting to bad lyrics doesn't go with swimsuits.

Ugh. I think Texas looks like a tranny. I can't believe she won.

FWIW, I thought some of the nicest looking gals didn't even make the Top 15. Who the hell is judging these tramps? And seaguy, I couldn't agree more, I thought BOTH Donny and Marie were vomit inducing, and I hate how much they love themselves. Can't they ever get a NORMAL host for these shows????

Marie was a fucking annoying asshole throughout the entire show. She definitely was on something, that's for sure. I'm surprised Donny didn't deck her on several occasions.

Best parts of the show for me were seeing Christian and seeing the amazing Rachel Smith. When she came out for her final walk it was so clear that she should have just been recrowned this year.

Springtime = new Miss USA.

2007 Universe had Miss USA fall on her ass during the evening gown competition. 2007 Teen had South Carolina showing us how moronic today's youth can be. Don't know how 2008 USA can top those YouTube moments, but we'll see Friday night, April 11. I don't really think anyone this year looks as good as Rachel does.
