I thought that it was common knowledge that fall/spring seasons tended to be in near locations...

They're not going to do two consecutive seasons on the same continent.

I'm hoping S18 will be New Zealand.

I think if they go somewhere close they should do Egypt if they can or atleast morocco. I want to see some different locations, and those are both obviously close to Gabon. Not to mention they havent done a dry-ish season in like, FOREVER

Gabon will be a great season with sight seeing gorillas and other species.

Claude hit the mark. Not only would there be surfing hippos, there'd be sight-seeing gorillas, too.

I understood both times...

I never thought about it really... Vanuatu - Palau = very close. Guatemala - Panama = very close. Cook Islands - Fiji = very close. China - Palau = sorta close.

I guess you're on to something there. Hopefully they go to madagascar next or sampn.

Don't the producers when scouting for the next location (which would be for Survivor 18) try to stick to a location not too far...
