Reason #1 Survivor could never air in real time - it would fuck up the rigid editing guidelines that are seemingly in place as mandated from on high by MB himself.

Reason #2 - the editors leave a lot to be desired having all that time to prepare, I could only image how badly they'd fuck up with such time constraints.

I would love it, that or (again) more to feed my addiction than just one ep per week and continuously more disappointing Insider clips.

I'd love a couple epis a week for Survivor...you miss so much, it's crazy...but we've been whining about that for years now...they'll never do it...it blows me away that BB is given three days a week still...what with its ratings any more...

It would be great to have a Survivor version of Big Brother Afterdark. I've never really watched BB, but I see the 3 hour blocks of the Afterdark on Showtime. Three commercial free freeform hours of survivor seem very appealing. Wouldn't really cost anything, they film all the time anyway.

Though I like both shows, I will always prefer Survivor by a mile. The whole concept of people being stranded in a remote location, fighting to stay in the game on a physical, mental and strategic level is much more epic than a bunch of people gossiping and scheming in a house.
