The point of throwing the challenge wouldn't be so much to get rid of someone on your own team, as to protect your allies on the other team. Ozzy/Amanda/Cirie have an interest in protecting Parvati/James. Additionally, Ami has an interest in protecting Eliza. None of them could much care less about Tracy or Erik.

Tracy has said lots of (not entirely consistent) things in her post-boot interviews, so I don't know how seriously to take any of them. But she did also mention...

Maybe Amanda and Cirie are throwing the challenges to protect Parv and James (for the time being) without Ozzy's knowledge. Ozzy exhausted himself in the last immunity challenge. He definitely gave it his all and gave Malakal a good lead in the process which was lost while Amanda and Cirie worked on the puzzle. Also, the editing is usually very negative when it comes to throwing challenges. Ozzy was thrashed in Cook Islands for throwing that challenge to get rid of Billy. He may not be so...

In interviews, Tracy thought that Malakal was throwing challenges to get the fans out. I wouldn't doubt that Ozzy/Amanda/Cirie decided to throw a few immunity challenges, but not admit it.

Suck on Amanda's tit a little harder. I think you missed a spot. Amanda didn't "throw" the challenge. She fucking sucked at it and cost her team the win. The End.

I'm just wondering if they're throwing the challenges. Cirie's supposed to be good at puzzles but it seemed that they weren't even close to finished by the time Eliza figured it out.

Everyone was doing the cranking, Eliza did two runs and she killed her in the puzzle. Amanda blew a huge lead. The loss is pinned completely on Cirie and her.

In regards to people saying Parvati hasn't been changing her game like she said she would, I think it was meant to be more of a long-term statement. And considering how Amanda/Parvati/Alexis/Natalie/Cirie are the F5, it looks like Parvati DOES definitely change her game.
