You would think he would have at least gained some performance skills by now. His face is still expressionless while he's up there. Even my 11 year old daughter notices that.

Clay is the only exception to the #2 flop rule but he didn't outsell Kelly Clarkson. He's one that Clive hasn't dropped from the label. Blake should be gone pretty soon.

So which Idol sold more CDs than anybody else from the show during the show's first 3 seasons? Almost 3 million copies? I'll give you a hint: he came in second.

He was "current" and Melinda was "old fashioned" and wouldn't sell CDs. But at least she could sing and probably would have sold as many albums as this guy. All the idol #2 flop anyway.

I didn't even watch the performance. I liked him last year, voted for him, and I'd still say he gave some good performances. Everything since then has come across as very forced, OTT, gimmicky, and some of his interview comments did him no favors. I think the last straw for me was when he was humping all over someone at Fox's NYE concert.

Bingo. I kind of liked him last year but I can't remember why anymore.

He wouldn't even make the top 12 this year. Every guy in the current top 12 has a better voice.

Just about every guy in the last top 12 had a better voice, too. His beatboxing was his only redeemable quality, but apparently everyone was willing to sit through ten times as much "singing" just to hear a few measures of beatboxing.

I love how no one applauded when they announced his return tomorrow. I don't think the contestants this year even remember him.
