I think, an interesting situation for him to be standing on the mat with the misfits. Does he come into his new tribe with a new attitude?

After his hysterical, "Again, I want to emphasize..." moment at the last TC, I get the feeling that is this someone who thinks he's cool, but doesn't realize what a dork he actually is. This is opposed to someone cool who knows he's a misfit and relishes in being unique.

No one wore glasses I can recall, but they did give them a swimming mask to cover their eyes. Guess they left 'em home this time.

I can understand how it happens that Jason is picked later, it just creates, I think, an interesting situation for him to be standing on the mat with the misfits. Does he come into his new tribe with a new attitude? Does Chet summon up enough energy for some sotto voce pageant trash talk while they're standing there? Or maybe Kathy takes the opportunity to assure him that getting picked last isn't all that bad, he'll live through it.

Ozzy's team doesn't much need...

Apparently Erik is the fans best swimmer so I guess that might be a reason for him going before Jason.

Interestingly enough, according to Alexis' blog (posted by tullfan2 in spoilers), Eric couldn't swim because of his contact lenses.

While Erik was an incredible physical contender, having contacts put him out of contention for every one of our water challenges.

Amanda probably didn't know that he wasn't able to...

I'm not totally surprised that Erik is chosen before him. Apparently Erik is the fans best swimmer so I guess that might be a reason for him going before Jason. I guess I'm a bit surprised that one of the girls from the fans would go before...

Actually it a bit sounded to me as though he realized he was sounding as though Jonathan stayed and JP modified what he was saying into the "story of the toll injuries take on the survivors."
He could have been hiding "jonathan goes" and he could have been hiding "jonathan stays"

It sounds to me that he was talking about injuries in general...that they will be a theme that plays out for the remainder of the game, not just specifically Jonathan.

We know Chet has one, and probably Kathy (fingers?); there also was the Amanda hurts her ankle kinda spoiler.
So who knows?

Sounds more like an Amy situation then, rather than a Jeff Wilson (biggest wimp in survivor history) situation.
