I saw the movie tonight after finishing the series today...I must have stopped watching sometime in season eight because I remembered some of those episodes and remembered laughing every time I saw Mulder falling in the opening credits. The last two seasons weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I think season seven was actually the worst as far as boring standalones. yeah i think i got a little carried away. i love the x files no matter what. seeing them together was awesome. *single tear* i think the critics themselves got carried away in tearing it up. they were also expecting something else. i'm looking forward to the third movie.

Pencake and I just got back from seeing this. There were 5 other people besides us in the theater. Word of mouth has KILLED this movie.

However - I really liked it. It wasn't jaw-dropping or anything, but as a huge X-Files fan, I was just happy to see them again. I loved how Mulder was "hiding out" in Scully's house, and how he had plastered the walls with paranormal clippings. I also love how Scully's character is agnostic, yet she wears a crucifix and...

I have the box set too, and had the same problem w/ the drawer. I was just about ready to tear the thing apart to find out what was in there. Fuckers.

I just saw the movie and it was alright. Any part w/ Mulder/Scully both in it was golden, you could tell they were giving it their all. The rest of the cast was totally phoning it in, and it showed the whole way through. I thought Skinner wasn't going to show up and then he finally appeared at the end <3 I like the scene where...

The goodies I got were a poster, an episode guide, some cards, a comic book, and probably something else. It was a bitch to open the little drawer so I usually just keep it closed.
