is now playing FFXII and so far im having fun with the lack of enemy encounter cut scene

True story: I once replayed FF8 for the sole purpose of Triple Triad cuz I was so addicted. That and it's not necessary to train at all. God I love that game <3

You actually don't have to do the Queen of Cards quest, I think. It's really hard to find since you can't see it, but you go can go to one of the random islands that's somewhere around Esthar and walk around until suddenly the screen will change and you'll be in this area where the space shuttle landed. The Queen of Cards will be there with all her rare cards. *thanks the walkthrough he has for that* >_>

ETA - The card quest in Balamb Garden to challenge...

I liked the fact that the plot actually started going where and was more serious with disc 3. I loved the part with them going out to space. It was a very quick disc though compared to the other two.

I know right? But sometimes when you challenge them again, they'll play the card they took from you so if you win, you can get it back.

Its pretty...

I thought the first two discs were definitely the most fun. Disc 3 was still good but had a somber feel about it with how serious the plot was getting.

I find the card game really fun and stuff, but then I start playing cards and I forget that I didn't save in a while and somehow the computer rips me off and I lose and they always take one of my summon or character cards.

On the contrary, I thought disc 3 was around where it started to pick up. Aside from the whole "Oh, I was possessed the whole game by this other random sorceress" thing. Plot clearly wasn't FF8's strong point.

The card game is the worst thing about FF8. I don't even bother playing it.

Mario Party 3 <33333. Aces High was my favorite mini game ever. (it's an airplane shooting elimination style mini-game) Oh and Banjo Tooie shoutout as well. So much better than Banjo Kazooie(HATE)

Ecks to FF8ownage <333 even without Triple Traid it's ~epic~ story makes it fabo ^_^

Classic Mario Party for N64 has gotta be one of the most fun games ever. <3

It is very enjoyable but no it does not rank up there with FF 7 or even 12. Which were my 2 favorite too. Following the game closely using an online guide helps.

So I have been thinking lately of updating this thread. Top 20 Super Nintendo or N64 games? Hmmmmm

You don't have a Wii?... Cuz you an download it from the Wii Shop Channel for $10.

You can also download Secret of Mana from the Wii Shop Channel and I highly recommend it to everybody! :P

My Super Mario RPG dreams have been crushed.

I finally beat Banjo Tooie today, so I decided to start SMRPG. It didn't work and I had to take it back. There were no other copies left.

For your first run-through, it would be incredibly hard to beat Lavos before the end of the game... I've never done it.

Sure with new game+ you can take him at any time... but your first try? That's tough.
