1st era: S1-S8
2nd era: S9-S16
3rd era: S17-future

More appropriate in that the Survivor seasons parallel my love life:

1) First girl. My first time. Everything felt so new, so weird. It was tough to even get a hang of what was happening, but it was so interesting that I wanted more and more.

Survivor has gone through a number of "Eras". At the most simple level, you can divide it into BAS (Before All Stars), and AAS (After All Stars). There is a distinct difference in style, and audience reaction, between these two Eras.

But I think the seasons can be chopped up into finer Ages, which is the purpose of this wanky post.

Genesis:
Season 1: Borneo/Palau Tiga
The Rules are established. Not everyone is "Playing the Game".
