Idea for a 3 tribes of 6 tribe to merge as one tribe:

So no tribe will be wiped out, The 4th week there will be a new rule for immunity, Only the 1st placer tribe will have the 2 immunity idols. The bottom 2 tribe will be candidate for TC. The 1st placer tribe will decide which of the 2 tribes will go to TC.

Why merge at ten anyway?

a tribeless game basically = all 16 live on the same beach and share everything, come reward challenge have items that can't be shared for grabs

at each new immunity challenge, randomly select teams and the losing team goes to tribal, repeat for every immunity challenge

so solid alliances are nt stable and technically everyone is involved in the strategy talk before tribal council since everyone lives on the same beach

Well, if there was a danger of that happening, they could just mix the 3 tribes up come episode 4 or 5.

I'm not sure how a tribeless season would work. Surely a TC with 16 people would be too much. They'd have to split into random teams for the challenges, even if they were all "one tribe" (like in Ep. 9 Fiji).

3 tribes, 6 each would be great, I mean ASS wasn't too bad to get used to, once 2 people are gone it will be easier to follow...

I think it'd be tough to do three tribes til merge, just to keep up with all of the tribes and give them all airtime.

I'd love a no-tribe twist for a bit, though. If it started out with 16 all on one tribe for six days, then after two eliminations split them into two groups of seven (or even split into three groups of four after four eliminations) we'd see some true fun.

Next season it would be three tribes of 18 castaways. When the castaways reduce to 16 or 15, the three tribes will split to two tribes.

You know something I've always wanted to happen? A third tribe being introduced later in the game. For example, remember the China twist where Zhan Hu and Fei Long had to select the other team's strongest players? What if Sherea, Frosti, Aaron, and James at that point became a third tribe. That would have been awesome.

I want 3 tribes that wont merge into 2. They will merge into one. I love the multiple tribe dynamics because I see 3 different storylines.

I don't like the fact of getting more tribes. If there are 2, keep it at 2 until merge. If there are more than 2, you can move into 2 but going from 2 to 3 or 4 is slightly lame.

16 - 14 tribes
15 - merge into 3 tribes
10 - merge

I think it's better to do that twist with a 4 tribes of 5 season. Once they hit the final 14, the 4 tribes will merge into 1 but with a twist.

They will be turned into partners. 7 duos, In other words they will be randomly paired up for 2 weeks. They will be voted off as pairs not individuals until they reach the final 10.

All-Stars gave us the interesting three tribe dynamic, but I always felt like it was a failed opportunity to not play the concept out up until a merge. I think it would make for an interesting post-merge game. We could have a 5-3-2, 3-3-3, 4-4-1...so many interesting possibilities. The tribes could even be divided as a tribe of males, a tribe of females, and then a tribe of 3 males and 3 females. I just think it would make the merge a lot more interesting and give us a lot more...
