That's the thing with Probst. Whenever it's a male who acts like that, Probst kisses their asses (Shane, Judd, CaoBoi), saying "Oh they make the show interesting, they're colorful, they're lively, they're in your face and it's AMAZING, they play the game, they blah blah blah blah blah". Kathy was amazing. It's like she doesn't know when to shut up, instead blurting out every single thing that comes to her crazy-ass mind. It helps that pretty much everything is new to her and that she can freak out at the drop of a hat.

She's one of the best casting choices ever in terms of entertainment. We need more Kathy's on this show!
