Like I said before. I'm pretty sure they wanted Courtney but she most likely declined so they went with Amanda instead. Same reason they have Partwati over Candice.

The Courtney thing may be true, but Parvati was definitely much more interesting and memorable than Candice was, so I presume Parvati was their first choice for females from that season. (Plus Parvati made it farther in the game, for whatever that's worth.)

Amanda definitely had this game in the bag until FTC. I'm not so sure if it was that her answers to the jury were poor, or that Todd just owned it. Jean-Robert said it best in his voting confessional that Todd just "stole a million dollars." I believe Todd's FTC performance gained him at least two votes that were meant for Amanda going in.

Amanda lost the game at the last two tribal councils. That sorrow look for voting out Denise was the beginning, her horrible answers at the jury tribal council was the other. If she could have salvaged it at the jury, she still could have won.

Before people were voted out... or when she knew their time was coming... she made sure to clear the air, hang out, or comfort them. I was watching with my brother most of the season and it was almost like a checklist for Bluranda. After her talk with Erik and her buddying up to him, coming out of the cave to greet everyone when no one else did, making mention that she brought back food when Todd did not later on,...

I think it's James, not Amanda who went to half ASS. Jiffy Pop made it absolutely clear that only one person from Survivor China went to do the fans vs faves, and he did insist that it was about the Survivor faves. If last night's vote was any indication Denise, PG and James were the 3 most fave people from the season and that James was the most fave out of the three. That means Amanda could not be in the new season.

And btw Amanda sucks. PG was right, she shoudl stop the...
