This show is so frustrating. As dumb as the people trying to get their cars back may be... the fucking team there is a racket. They just make people run around and get different shit and pay different fees, it's so ridiculous.

So, if you come up to your car before the ticket writer finishes writing the ticket, the ticket writer is supposed to NOT give you a ticket. So the woman that double-parked should not have gotten a ticket. Then to show why the PPA is so hated, after writing the ticket the woman should not have received, he does not write a ticket for the workers who were double-parked.

In addition, I have never gotten a ticket while sitting in my car at an expired meter. The ticket writers do...

Nobody cares what your intentions are. You're either breaking the law or you're not. Their job is to enforce it, not make you happy.

That is SO why I love living in a small city (that is bordering on being a town) that doesn't have one meter within an hour and a half drive. We moved here 7 years ago from Vancouver, BC and love, love LOVE it (did I mention I love it?). You can pretty much park anywhere you want for however long (within reason) with no recourse. Parking in Vancouver was a nightmare. That being said, I got (maybe) 1 or 2 tickets in the years I lived in the city because I paid for where I parked and parked...

Thanks, kids. Just getting ready to leave for 10 days and right now setting the DVR. Added this to it, and jeez, can I say I'm having a hard time even recalling anything on specific nights that I even give a rat's ass about, well, other than poker shows (reruns or not, I'm sad.grim.etc.).
