Some castaways from previous seasons have mentioned that TC's have lasted up to 2 hours or more, so I'm really curious to know what's really being said. Also, if Jeff is going to enourage, insinuate, etc, then you'd think that by the time 2 hours are up and everyone's ready to vote that something interesting really is going to be said or done.

it is jeff's job to suggest, intice, and insinuate. as already mentioned he probably does this every council and is only shown when it applies to the episode. as we all know council's are cut down in the editing room by at least 30-45 minutes and so much more goes on then we see. i dont blame jeff for it at all, besides when he does it and player x still doesnt use the idol, it makes for an even bigger "you idiot" moment, so it pretty much all balances out.

If you listen to some of the commentaries with JP on the dvds, he's said before something along the lines of "we all thought so-and-so was going that nigh but..." so its clear that he knows some of whats going on. I doubt he reviews all the footage, but he must get filled in by someone.

As to him interfering and trying to fuck people's plans up, yeah sometimes its frustrating but I'd do the same thing. You need to stir shit up especially if you're looking...

Jeff once said in an interview that he is given certain info. and that they give him a five minute recrap of what's been going on around camp. But that he's also not given any specifics, either, which is hard to believe. The producers, inho, clue him in though on the major themes of the last three days so he does know what direction to take TC.

It's Jiffy's job to foil plans when they're plotting to get rid of popular or entertaining players. It's also his job to stir the shit and make people look like idiots. He always tries to get someone say something like "Jeff, I feel secure that I'm not going home tonight because I trust my alliance 100%" right before they get blindsided. Remember when he did that to Chrusty. She went on and on about how she was in the drivers seat and then promptly got her ass...

For China.
Episode 2 reward, he kept on telling everyone that Aaron was the only one that was rolling the other ball.

He then totally put Jaimie and PG's throwing the sabotage in visibility during the 5th immunity challenge.

they spend hours at tc and jeff tries to stir the pot with everything i am sure he has mentioned trust at every tribal council but it was shown tonight to emphasize the stupidity of James blunder.

To be fair, Probst isn't around camp so he's really clueless as to what happens. I guess he assumed that it was a Pagoning and thought he could shake things up if he got them paranoid. Not knowing he was actually fucking up a blindside.

I kept on noticing this too at every tribal council. Jeff always seems to expose everyone's plan. I was getting so fucking frustrated when Jeff kept planting the seed in James head. Just shut the fuck up!

I totally thought when he went on and on about trust and asking questions that were basically telling James not to trust these people he was going to use it it. I underestimated how stupid James was, but come no why does Jeff feel its his duty to do this it's so fucking annoying.
