Lol. That leaves David Schwimmer as the only "Friend" to not grab a Golden Globe nomination, but Courteney is still the only Friend to not have an Emmy nomination.

As much as I love Foxy I'd have to agree with you SI. His acting just doesn't grab me 100%. But Ken Leung is fantastic. I saw an episode of the Sopranos the other day with him in it & was blown away. He's really good & not just as Miles.

Well the difference is I believe Fox was only nominated for the pilot season (only the first 13 episodes) as well as Wentworth Miller, Patrick Dempsey, and Hugh Laurie. While Lily was nominated for an exceptional episode (what kate did) neither actor has proven to me to be worthy of return nominations. I don't think either actor or actress has earner their spots not with shows with much better leads in shows like Big Love, Brotherhood, Dexter, Damages, Friday Night Lights, Mad Men,...

Or they just realize that there's a lot of really good work being done, and that just because they like a show it doesn't mean it should be nominated for every award created. I mean, if you look at the content Cranston (for example) has to submit, and the stuff Fox has, it's not at all surprising. Plus, as has been said, Lost is more of an ensemble cast, which I think always makes it harder for someone to get a lead acting nom.

I doubt any of the "Princess and the Frog" songs will get nom'd for Oscars, none of them are memorable at all and they all sound the same. Nowhere near the epicness of the Menken/Ashman or even the Menken/Schwartz songs from the 90's even their half assed efforts (Enchanted) got 3 fucking nominations a couple of years back.

Watched 2 films today - "A Single Man" and "Princess and the Frog".

"Princess and the Frog" is very classic Disney with dreams and making wishes and true love, all that shit that they feed into your brains when you're a kid so you get disappointed when you grow up. It's cute, and you know Disney's trying to up the ante with some heavy drama in parts, but it is no way beating "Fox" or "Up" for Best Animated...
