King is asking people to vote on his official site for which project they'd like to see him tackle next - the new Dark Tower book or The Shining sequel.

I voted for The Shining.

It's very close right now. Dark Tower is leading 51% to 49%. King also says he has a new book coming out next year, but no information has been revealed yet.

I bought/finished Under the Dome a few weeks ago. I thought the pacing and everything was pretty good up until the last hundred-ish pages---if you've read it, you know what I'm talking about. It just seemed a bit unnecessary.

My favorite part, however, was the villains; they were fantastically hateable, the main villain in particular.
