Yeah...I thought Courtney was awesome at tribal council. Throughout the season she has shown that she is articulate...and I figured she would be able to give solid answers to the questions presented to her. In terms of "weak" players-in the finals ie. Katie, Becky, Cassandra, Lil, I think Courtney was actually able to convince people why she deserved to win, and what she had to overcome to get to that spot and last the 39 days. The others I thought were unable to come close to doing...

Yeah it was odd to hear how Amanda never really connected with other contestants. I don't understand how she could do this, knowing that it is a social game, and you would need to count on these people for a vote in the end. It took being stranded alone with Peih-Gee for her to finally talk to her. Did she think she was better then these people? Since she was in a power position she didn't need to talk with them?....similar to Brian H. and Penny? If so that is a crucial mistake for a...

Yeah, neither did I. I mean, I didn't really know what kind of question she'd ask, because being the 1st juror, I didn't know if she'd even care or put much thought into it since no Zhan Hu was up there. But I think it was 1 of the best jury questions ever. She got FL squabbling with each other even though Courtney tried to resist it at first. Only good ol Alislut can top that kind of entertainment

Amanda had horrible answers. I love Jaime's and Jean Robert's questions and I love how Todd answered them. He really shut Jean Robert up and I think he gave Jaime a good direct answer and he did not beat around the bush.

I think Chris' jury speech assured him of Julie's vote but lost him Ami's when Scout pointed out all his BS. Net result = 0. Anyway, Chris had Chad, Sarge, Eliza and Leann in the bag.

Todd, I think won both Jaime and Jean Robert's votes. James and Peih Gee's votes were far from a certain thing.

It was a great season in my eyes, and that finale certainly clinched it. Amazingly enough, the F3 ended up not being a problem at all and probably did result in a better finish than had we had a F2. I still dislike it as a permanent change as I think this was more a coincidence than a full term fix, but things worked out well for us this season like they did in Cook Islands. I was glad to see that Todd got 4 votes, as one of my big beefs withh the F3 is winning without getting a majority of...

Good season but I wasn't thrilled with the finale. Denise became my least favorite person of the season, Todd was his usual annoying self (with that horrible crying act after the votes were read, how much more ridiculous can he get?). I love Courtney even more after the finale but Amanda also went down a little in my book after the final tribal.

After ranking the seasons in the Rank the Seasons thread I realized that I still like many seasons more than this one. It was still...

I'm not even sure Amanda made a worse jury speech than Sandra or Amber who both won. Apologizing is often what the jury wants. Why do you guys think we heard PG telling Denise that "Amanda is playing that sympathy card" a few episode ago? If nothing else, it prepared us for the jury's mood.

Todd won the game with his jury speech and I'm not sure that has ever happened before. Players lose votes with their explanations, they rarely win any.

I have set this thread up for the past two seasons, and it did relatively well as a thread to simply discuss the episodes as they aired without the heavy vidcap spec, Edgic, or spoilers. Let's hope it can work again for China.

The cast is on the official China website, and I like the new group VERY much. 16 contestants and only 4 of them are from CA! No equal division of minorities! A gravedigger! A school lunch lady! A professional poker player! A parkour (type of stunt...
