- She was then called back for Survivor

That's too bad. Laura and Jodi would have made a much better team than Christie and Jodi imho. Jodi was pretty awesome, Christie not so much. Sucks that they needed a...

robb said the first true recruiting didnt come till S7, but i dont think so

i remember reading an article during thailand(cant believe that was SEVEN years ago) that Ken was recruited at ground zero. Erin recruited at a bar. Casting went out to CA for a used car salesmen, then found brian.

Yeah but just because you are a fan of one reality show doesn't mean you know anything about Survivor and in the end they're no better than any other recruits...

So is Kim really the only one that is completely unknown whether she applied or was recruited? Remember, I've said before that I'm almost positive that she applied. I could be wrong, but we might never actually know.

I remember Brady's video for some reason from the rest. It wasn't all that interesting either but he talked about some Vietnamese gang.

I mean, why the hell would anyone apply for Survivor anyway, when they can just apply for The Amazing Race? You get to travel around the world for free and not starve to death or sleep under the rain.

I consider people pulled in from other shows as applicants. Most people who watch Survivor watch Big Brother and Amazing Race too, and at least they are fans of reality TV and want to get on.

Piratemaster rejects,TAR and big brother applicants shoould be prioritized if they cant get decent people from survivor applicants. Can we have at least a new season that is recruit free.

I hate recruits, but people that have applied to TAR, BB or previous seasons shouldn't really count IMO.

The ones I know
Fiji-Everyone recruited except Gary. (Michelle from Amazing Race)
Cook Islands-Stephannie, Cao Boi, and Candice applied. Everyone else recruited (Parvati/Cecilia Amazing Race)
Exile Island-Tina, Cirie, Sally, Bruce? applied. Bobby, Aras Recruited.
Palau-Katie applied Ibrehim? Jenn, Ian recruited.
Guatemala-Brooke, Brianna, Blake, Morgan recruited, everyone else...
